When my child first started therapy at age 2, he was barely saying two words and struggled to communicate. He was often very aggressive, and I felt overwhelmed, unsure, and honestly scared about what his future might look like. I didn’t know how to help him or what to expect from therapy.

From the moment we began at the Speech Language and Learning Center, everything started to change. The experience has truly been life-changing for our family. Every therapist who has worked with my child has gone above and beyond, supporting us through every challenge and helping us navigate each new stage with care and expertise.

Today, the progress is incredible. My child has gone from using just a couple of words to speaking in sentences. He’s calmer, better able to regulate himself, and has developed so many important self-care and communication skills. Hearing him say “I love you” is something I once wasn’t sure would ever happen—and now it’s one of our greatest joys.

This journey has transformed our entire family. We can go out, connect, and communicate in ways we couldn’t before. He’s even started making friends, which is something we once only hoped for.
